Games are played in Matchplay or Tournament mode:

Matchplay

Play a single game and pit your score against one or more opponents.
Select the amount you want to stake, the amount of opponents to challenge then play your game. Your score will be matched against the next or previous player's score.

Tournaments

First you must qualify for a tournament. You can try to qualify as many times as you like. Once qualified you will play a series of games in a typical knockout structure until there is a single winner.
